I am VERY delayed in actually writing this blog since the Spring 2021 Fab Fit Fun box has been out for a bit! But with end-of-year school happenings, getting our flooring redone and a million other excuses, I wasn’t on top of it this quarter! The plus side to my procrastination is that I was able to try every item in the box multiple times before giving my impressions on them. With that, let’s dive in.

Tech Candy Clean Sate UV Sanitizing Bed

This was one of the items I chose during customization. Fab Fit Fun is changing things up for the summer box, and you get to pick ALL of your items for that box! I’m not sure how to feel about that. I love choosing things I know I’ll use, but I also enjoy the element of surprise and have been thrilled with a lot of items they sent me that I would have never chosen myself. Anyhow, this item I did pick, because why not be a bougie sonuvabitch? It’s the Tech Candy Clean Slate UV Sanitizing Bed. You put your phone inside, close it up, hit the power button, and let the UV lights do their thing for five minutes. Their website states, “This sanitizing bed kills up to 99% of Staph, E. Coli, Salmonella + other harmful bacteria in just minutes. UV-C light is frequently used in professional environments to sanitize and reduce the presence of bacteria and other germs.” It retails for $60.

Camp Collection Dip Dye Market Tote

For my next customized item, I chose the Camp Collection Dip Dye Market Tote. For those of you that don’t live in Colorado, we are not one of the states that makes you bring your own bags to the grocery store (or charge you .05 per bag) like other states. While that is not good for the environment, it is good for those of us who don’t remember to bring our own bags. Anyhow, enough trips to Whole Foods and me feeling guilty led me to pick this cute tote to haul produce home in instead of using the shitty plastic bags. It retails for $25 and is hand-washable.

Steel Mill & Co. To-Do Planning Bundle

The next customizable option I chose is this handy Steel Mill & Co. To-Do Planning Bundle. I’m one of those old school mother fuckers who prefers to have my plans written down on a calendar or in a planner. (As well as in my phone, because I am extra AF.) There’s something so satisfying about crossing stuff off my to-do list. It comes with two highlighters and stickers and retails for $45.

One thing I should mention is that when you are an annual Fab Fit Fun member, you get to customize 5-6 different items. And within those groups are another 4 or 5 objects to choose from, so keep in mind that what I am showing you are the things that spoke to me, but they offer a variety of shit you can pick from. Other options I could have chosen from for this quarter’s box include Alice + Olivia bucket hat or tote, a Shoshanna Umbrella, a lunch box, Milk Makeup Watermelon face serum, Josie Maran Pure Argan Oil, Bloomingville woven seagrass coasters, Splendid faux fur slippers, Jenni Kayne water hyacinth tray, Short Stories LED indoor planter, Perricone MD moisturizer, a Monroe watch, Verso Skincare Super Eye Serum, and Mac Cosmetics lipsticks. So you have PLENTY of options as an annual member!

Lark & Ives Hair Scarf Bundle

Next up, we have Lark & Ives Hair Scarf Bundle. Once again an item I chose because I already had some of the options in this category. (Ahava lotion, a makeup organizer, Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel, and Grown Alchemist hand cream were some of the choices.) I’m not a hair scarf girl, but figure why not give it a try?! These retail for $30.

Nails Inc Nail Polish in Mayfair Lane

This item was a surprise but I love a good nail polish. It’s by Nails Inc and is in the color Mayfair Lane. I love an easy pale pink because it doesn’t look shitty when it chips or when your nails grow out longer. Follow me for more lazy mom tips. It retails for $15.

Cali Cosmetics Body Wash

Another pleasant surprise was this body wash by Cali Cosmetics. It has a nice smell and lathers up well, which really is all I ask for since I use shower gel as my shaving cream. It retails for $22.

Earth Harbor Marina Biome Brightening Ampoule

Earth Harbor Marina Biome Brightening Ampoule is the next guy I unboxed. Their website claims that this face serum targets uneven skin tone, discoloration and hyperpigmentation, dull skin, and uneven texture. It features spirulina and blue tansy to vigorously brighten and balance the skin and retails for $38. I’ll be honest, it seems to work just as the same as my cheap serums by The Ordinary. But the smell is awesome!

Gloss Moderne Hair Masque

The last personal care item in the box was this Gloss Moderne Clean Luxury Hair Masque. I love the smell of it, but if I am being honest (which this is my blog and I am not affiliated or sponsored by Fab Fit Fun or any of these companies so I can be real) this didn’t blow my socks off. If you want a really good hair masque, I would go for the Morrocanoil one. It’s way more moisturizing and you step out of the shower with your hair basically detangled. The Gloss Moderne mask has shea butter and antioxidants in it and retails for $55.

Joy Dravecky Chloe Ring

I bring you to the last item in this quarter’s box, and I actually added into my box as an extra choice. I couldn’t decide between this and the hair mask when customizing my box, and if you want to chose a second item you can for either $10 or $15 depending on the item. So I paid $15 for this ring just because I wanted it. It’s by Joy Dravecky and is adjustable. It retails for $75, so you see why I felt no guilt adding it into my box for $15. (That’s what she said?) Anyhow, taking this ring out of the list of items that would have normally come in my box, the total worth of this quarter’s box is $290! ($305 if you include the ring.) And keep in mind if you’re an annual member, the box is $45 per quarter. TOTALLY worth it!

If you’re on the fence on if you’d like a Fab Fit Fun box, they do send a trial box with 2-3 full sized samples and they only charge you shipping! My friend Niki was on the fence so I told her to do this and see if she liked the trial box. She loved it so she decided to pull the plug and get the annual membership. I also have some free starter boxes left to give out. In fact, I’ve had two different women reach out to me whom I’ve never met but found my blog on Pinterest and they asked me to send them one. And I did – because I fucking aim to please! So feel free to reach out to me if you want one. I have six left to give out! Before you know it, the summer box will be here!
