I realize the Fourth of July just passed, but it’s never too early to start looking for Halloween Decor! This year I wanted to switch up where I purchased some of my decorations. I like to decorate our upstairs with pink Halloween decor since my girls both have pink in their rooms. And then the rest of the house I have in traditional orange and black. Let’s dive in to what I’ve sourced for 2024 so far!
I will forewarn you, these items are all compiled in my LTK page. If you don’t already have the LTK app, I can’t recommend it enough. Long before I was an affiliate for LTK, I shopped on there as a regular shopper. There are a few things I love about it. One, it’s totally free. Two, when you save or “favorite” items, when they go on sale, you get a notification! What’s better than live-time price-dropping items you love? So just know, you can access all of the good shit I find on LTK here.
Pottery Barn always has the cutest holiday items, but they tend to go fast. So I ordered all of the items above a month ago. The downside of Pottery Barn, is that sometimes it does take a full month to receive your order, so there’s no such thing as shopping too soon. Shop the looks above here. I love that these Halloween decor items are neutral with pops of orange and black, and intend to put them in our formal dining room.
For the upstairs, I had a lot of fun collecting some new items in pink and orange. Shop all of these items here. Last year, Michael’s had a ton of light pink and light purple decor. This year, they made sure to to add in pops of orange to keep some of the traditional Halloween spirit alive.
Next, I sourced some other items from a couple other places. I love that all of these items are lighter pink. You can shop them here. The coasters I actually purchased last year, but added all of the other stuff for this year! My office also doubles as my daughters’ playroom and is currently teal and pink. So I plan on using a lot of this Halloween decor in my office.
And of course, you guys know that I go bananas when it comes to Boo Baskets that I gift my neighbors. Here are the items I sourced for our 2024 baskets! Now, I realize I sound crazy for shopping this early but hear me out. Larger retailers like Target and Walmart start dropping Halloween the day they pull back-to-school items off the shelves. Smaller retailers like Michael’s and Home Goods push Halloween out the second the Fourth of July is over. So if you wait to shop ’til September, the good shit is usually gone.
Once I actually get my house decorated (which will be mid-September), I will be sure to update you guys with photos on how I incorporated all of these items into my Halloween Decor. To see how I decorated our house last year, check out my blog here. Last year, I made my girls pink boo baskets, and you can see those here. I also made my neighbors some that you can see here. To get ideas for more traditional boo baskets, read here. And if you need ideas for your kid’s classroom parties, I have you covered with my blog here. Thanks so much for stopping by!
