If you are a sucker for Valentine’s Day like me, you’ll appreciate my Valentine’s Day home decor this year. I don’t go nearly as nuts for Valentine’s Day like I do for Halloween or Christmas, but I still like to get festive. Here is how I decorated for 2025!
Valentine’s Day tray decor:
It’s no secret if you’ve read my blog before, that I love Rae Dunn ceramics. So you’ll see those peppered throughout all of my holiday trays and shit. Above, is a mixture of Rae Dunn plus items from Hobby Lobby. The pink gumball machine is one from the Target’s Bullseye’s Playground from years ago that I spray-painted. I filled it with Rae Dunn brand wooden conversation hearts, then hung this scoop from it. The marshmallow mugs in the wired drawer are from Amazon here and their hats are from here. The other items you see are all from Hobby Lobby!
For the tray above, I got most items from Hobby Lobby with a smattering from Etsy. I got one of the mug hats on the bottom shelf from this shop, and got the others here. The tiny heart measuring spoons are from Williams Sonoma. The mini rolling pin is from this shop. And the bead garland is from here.
Valentine’s Day decor for your hutch:
Literally everything you see above is Rae Dunn that I purchased from Home Goods. If you don’t have a Home Goods near you, you can find a couple of these canisters on Etsy here and here. Or, do what I do when I can’t find shit in store and check out Mercari. Yes, you’ll pay shipping plus a little bit more than retail value, but if you really want a particular item, it’s worth it.
Valentine’s Day decor for your hot cocoa or coffee bar:
Full disclosure, I don’t always do a cocoa bar with my Valentine’s Day decor. But we had enough crap left over from my Christmas one that I figured I’d continue on. The little red tray is from Target’s Bullseye’s Playground from a few years ago. The macarons sign, glass heart jars, and creamer pitcher holding the paper heart straws are all from Hobby Lobby. The tiny coffee cart holding my sugar cubes and brown sugar is also from Target’s dollar spot from a few years back. I leave out all the fixings for both hot cocoa and tea. (The tea is organized in these boxes in the drawers below.)
Above is a glimpse into our formal dining room. The tablecloth, napkins, and napkin rings are all Home Goods. The plates are from Pottery Barn.
For the finishing touches on my Valentine’s Day decor, I tossed up this felt heart garland above our fireplace. The hearts stuck to the fireplace are crafts my girls have made through the years. The throw blankets are all from Target over the years and the throw pillows are all from Home Goods. To read some of my other Valentine’s Day blogs, check out my gift ideas here. Or you can read about classroom party ideas here. Also, if you need some one-stop shopping for Valentine’s Day, I’ve complied some things on my LTK shop here. As always, thanks for stopping by!
