It’s that time again! Time to see all the good shit that came in this quarter’s Fab Fit Fun box. If you haven’t yet tried it out, I strongly encourage it. You can check it out here. The total of the summer 2019 box ranged from $269.95 – $467.95. I tallied up what I got and my box ended up being worth $441.95!! And I just paid $50 for it! You can also buy a yearly subscription and drop the box down to $45 a quarter if you feel so inclined. Now let’s dig in mother fuckers!
And now for the first product. This is Brazilian Moisturizing Shower Cream Gel by Sol de Janeiro. It retails for $25 and deep cleans the skin without stripping it of its natural oils. With every Fab Fit Fun box, you get to “customize” a few items. A month before you receive your box, you’ll get an email with a few different items that you get to pick between. I went into it in more detail on my last blog about FFF, so find it here if you need more explanation on how it all works. So the next 3 things below I chose versus them choosing for me.
Next up is the cult favorite, Sol de Janeiro’s Brazilian Bum Bum Cream. The full size (8 fluid oz) retails for $45. This is the only product that didn’t come in a full size as it was paired alongside the matching shower gel as a set. This is an item I picked but I could have also chosen a kimono or a beach towel.
For this item, I could have picked between this 111Skin Rose Gold Brightening Facial Treatment mask, or a Summer and Rose Navy Diamond Tote, or a XO, Sienna Black Felt Letter Board, or some West Elm Tie-dye Bowls. I went for the mask, and holy shit, I am glad I did, because just this box of 5 masks costs a whopping $160!! It contains 24-karat gold and rosa damascena extract to help brighten, soothe, and hydrate the skin.
The last item I got to customize was this beaut by Jennifer Neuner Jewelry. I could have also chosen between Burn 60 Resistance Bands, or Odeme Pair of Silicone Wine Glasses in blush. I’m a sucker for dainty jewelry and already own resistance bands and PLENTY of wine glasses, so this necklace was the winner. It retails for $50!
This clay mask was included in every box. It’s by Generation Clay and has Davidson plum in it to help rejuvenate dull skin. It normally retails for $39.00.
Here is another gem included in every box, and still goes along with the whole mask theme. It’s an Exfoliating Foot Mask by Whish and has willow bark extract and pumpkin seeds in it to help exfoliate and soften your feet. It normally retails for $32 but I found it on Poshmark for $25.
This was also in every member’s box. It’s Grace and Stella Spray all day rose spray. It retails for $25.95 and you can spritz it to prime your face before putting on makeup, to set makeup, or just throughout the day for a little added moisture.
The last item included in everyone’s box was the Invisibobble Original Duo Pack of hair ties. It’s supposed to grip your hair but not leave dents in it like a normal hair tie. It retails for $16.
This item is for “select members.” It’s Doctor Rogers Restore Healing Balm. Only Select Members can customize certain things if they have an annual membership, and if they don’t, then FFF picks for you. So they picked this for me. It is a natural balm that soothes and heals dry and damaged skin. You can also use it to relieve scrapes, burns, post-procedure skin, and retails for $30. The other options FFF could have chosen for me are Eyeko London Eye Do Black Liquid Eyeliner (I NEVER wear eyeliner, so I’m glad they chose wisely and didn’t send this,) or Living Proof Nourishing Styling Cream. (I already own this.)
I hope you enjoyed peaking into the summer edition of the Fab Fit Fun Box. One of my best friends texted me a couple weeks ago to ask if I thought it was worth the hype and I said YES! I’m not sponsored by any of these brands to say so, I just truly do love the choices that FFF sends! Now everyone join me with a resounding, “HELL YEAH SUMMER IS HERE!!!”
