Kelly, the owner and interior designer behind Habitation Box, reached out to me to see if I’d review one of her boxes. Of course I said yes! She shipped it out quickly and as soon as I opened it, I could tell that it was all right up my alley. Let’s dive in!

About Habitation Box:

Habitation Box was founded by Kelly Agrey who is the lead interior designer. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in interior design and she loves to curate boxes that are on trend but also reflect upcoming seasons and holidays, so every box is different! With every subscription, you get complimentary interior design services too! There’s also an ample Facebook community where subscribers share how they styled different items.

Contents of my Habitation Box:

In the photo above you can see the goodies Kelly sent me! There were two risers/trays, a faux leaf garland, 4 napkin rings, 4 navy and white buffalo check cloth napkins, and a mini USA wooden banner – perfect for my tiered tray decor!

She asked me to style my house with them as I normally would, so off I went!

farmhouse navy kitchen

I already have navy peppered all throughout our main level of our home. We may be in Colorado, but I decorate like we live by the fucking sea. Anyhow, the navy napkins spoke to my heart. I rolled them up and then slid on the cute napkin rings from my Habitation Box. Then, I took out our regular white dinnerware and put the plates on top of some chargers I got at Hobby Lobby. The napkins look so cute on top of the plate, and the tan in the napkin rings blended with the chargers perfectly.

For the garland, it’s about 5 feet long when stretched out, but I chose to bunch it up and gather it under the larger riser. Then, I draped the wooden USA sign across the tray and tossed on my Kate Spade salt and pepper shakers. When it gets closer to the Fourth of July, my plan is to actually hang the USA sign from my Hobby Lobby chicken wire shelf. But until then, it looks cute draped across the riser.

As you can see from looking into the kitchen from this angle, our backsplash has pops of navy and blues so this entire tablescape matched perfectly!

hutch decor

After playing with the kitchen table setup, I realized I had use for the garland and two wooden risers in our formal dining room. In the photo above, I wove the garland around the top of my hutch. Then I used the larger riser for the centerpiece of our dining table. I put the smaller riser on the top shelf of my hutch to give height to some canisters.

The beauty of the items in the Habitation Box lies in their versatility. Even the seasonal items are still neutral enough to scatter in with your everyday decor!
