Valentine’s Day is great, but what we really need is more attention on Galentine’s Day. Let’s face it, men don’t really give two shits about Valentine’s Day the way women do. So instead of focusing all your energy on February 14th, steer your attention to one day earlier. I love using Galentine’s Day to surprise my closest friends with a little valentine to let them know I’m thinking about them. Plus, it gives me an excuse to buy all the cute pink and red shit in Target and Home Goods. Here are some Galentine’s Day gift ideas!

Galentine

Home Goods/TJ Maxx Galentine items:

I got all of the things you see above for my cousin, Mary. She’s like me where she likes all the cute houseware shit. I found literally every item at Home Goods/TJ Maxx! I got them in store. Their online selection isn’t as huge but I did link what I could find (and similar choices) here. I loved the cherry hand towels so much, I got my girls a set for their bathroom. And then I tossed in strawberry bath fizzers, a bow-patterned notebook, reusable festive eye gels, macarons, truffles, and chocolate covered cookies.

Target Galentine Items:

The Galentine you see above was one I made for my friend, Jenny last year. I was selling the socks in my online gift shop, and the heart-shaped soaps are from Amazon. Then toss in some festive candy and you’re good to go! I usually find all the candy and cute containers at Target. Her valentine this year came almost exclusively from Target. (Besides the Rae Dunn Snoopy mug.) She knows I love my RD, and her kids love Snoopy, so it’s an homage to us both.

Candy Galentines:

As you can see from the photo above, my galentine for Jenny this year was mostly candy. I couldn’t handle how cute the heart-shaped snack box was. And then I just filled it with festive candy – all from Target. The Snoopy mug I got at Home Goods. Lastly, I tossed in some Bee my Galentine Burt’s Bees tinted lip balm.
