I need more home decor like a hole in the head, but I couldn’t resist the 2023 Fall Decor Steals “Steal it box”. Last year, I happened onto the Decor Steals website from a home decorating Facebook group I am in. I gave their Spring 2022 Steal It box a whirl and loved it. It is released quarterly, and is not a subscription! You can order as frequently or infrequently as you want with no strings attached. I have so much home decor shit, that I vowed I would order sparingly. Alas, I am a sucker for all things Fall, so I snagged this season’s box and it did not disappoint!

What’s Included in the Steal It Box:

You can get a low-down of the details on Decor Steals website here. This quarter’s Steal It Box cost $124.99 and was curated by Tiffany from @mydiyhappyhome. Every season the box has a different curator and all items in the box tie together. According to their website, “Our 2023 Fall Steal It Box is designed with versatility in mind, allowing it to seamlessly adapt to any style you have in your home. Whether you prefer a modern, minimalist aesthetic or a cozy, traditional ambiance, our range of curated products can be effortlessly styled to complement your desired look.”

The box costs $5 to ship and all sales are final. Their schtick is that you get at least 7 pieces of home decor that mix and match with each other. For those of you who aren’t into surprises, you can often find “spoiler” videos about what is in the Steal It Box. I’m in it for the surprises though, so I just rolled the dice!

In each Steal It Box, you also get a handy folder on styling tips for each piece! It also includes how to clean each item, should you need to.

Items in the Fall 2023 Steal It Box:

Distressed black grain vessel:

According to the insert, these types of pots were originally used to store grains and spices in farms in rural China. The curator said it is reminds her of the pottery collection from Pottery Barn. Who doesn’t fucking love Pottery Barn? (Besides Phoebe Buffet?) The pot is for indoor use only, so keep that in mind when you go to style it!

Burgundy Stems:

Add them to the cauldron planter for a pop of color! Or you can easily tuck them in a vase or mix them into your hutch decor if you use the planter for something else! I plan to use this pot to hold a fake eucalyptus tree I got in their Spring Box and will use the burgundy stems in a vase instead. The beauty of these pieces is that you can incorporate them into the decor you already have since they are neutral.

Vintage Countryside Framed Art:

The style tip for this artwork says you can style on an entry table with a mirror, add to open shelves, or place in a grouping on the wall. Mine will be going on a wall next to my China hutch. I plan on displaying some fall Rae Dunn pottery in my hutch and will pepper some fake greenery throughout to tie it all together.

Set of 2 checkered boxes:

You can use these boxes for storage for your tv remotes. Or you can pop them on your nightstand and store hand cream, face masks, and that sort of thing in them. Or, toss them on a book shelf, one on top of the other for some heightened visual effect.

Fringed Throw Blanket:

You know what the fuck to do with a throw blanket! And if you know me, you know I don’t believe there is such as thing as too many! The black and cream match with so many things, so this is a great neutral piece!

Handcrafted pumpkins:

These are by far my favorite things in this season’s Steal it Box. They were inspired by the viral Pottery Barn pumpkins. You can stage them by your front door or on your covered porch. Or you can put them on a book shelf or your kitchen counter. I love the neutral terracotta tones because it allows you to stage these in your house all Fall – not just for Halloween. The pumpkins came with two LED tealight candles to place inside of them as well.

That is a wrap for this season’s box! I truly will use every item that came in the box. As a reminder, this post is NOT sponsored and is just because I love sharing my home decorating tips. If you’re also into home decor boxes, you’ll have to share how you styled yours! To see what came in their past Spring box, check out my blog here. Or you can also check out my blog here about Habitation Box, which has a similar concept!
